Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team on a paid internship basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), creating various electrical drawings, and performing electrical calculations. As an intern, you will assist in designing and analyzing electrical systems, contributing to projects that prioritize safety, efficiency, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Electrical Drawings:
Assist in developing and reviewing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and detailed electrical drawings for various projects.
Support in creating schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and layout plans for electrical systems.
Electrical Calculations:
Help perform electrical calculations, including load analysis, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, and power factor correction.
Ensure that all electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Design and Analysis:
Collaborate on designing and specifying electrical systems and components to meet project requirements and specifications.
Participate in analyzing and evaluating electrical systems for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
Provide support and assistance to other team members and stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports related to electrical designs, calculations, and system performance.
Help maintain accurate records of electrical designs and modifications.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all electrical designs and installations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing ( Final Year ) or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Basic knowledge of preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and performing electrical calculations.
Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, Dialux) is a plus.
Understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
